Patrick Doyle (PRS) has composed for some of film's great characters,
from Hamlet to Harry Potter. But the Scotsman had his work cut out for
him when he took on Merida, the headstrong protagonist of the new Pixar
feature Brave. Doyle spoke to us (in a brogue as thick as Scottish
porridge) about scoring Brave, the best-named bagpipe ensemble in the
world and much more.
