- John Barrowman announces tour and takes part in the Queen’s jubilee
Actor and
performer John Barrowman is embarking upon a four-date summer tour this June.
The tour
begins at Scarborough’s Open Air Theatre on Thursday, June 21st before fans in
Scotland can book Glasgow hotels on Friday, 22nd June to catch the second date
at Glasgow Green.
He then
finishes at Tower Festival Headland in Blackpool on Saturday, 23rd June and
Hampton Court Palace in London on Sunday, June 24th.
The tour
follows the success of his 2010 and 2011 UK tours and these dates are even more
special, as they take place in some of Britain’s most fabulous open-air venues.
Attendees will be able to get in early to eat, drink and relax in the
surroundings before the concert begins. These four dates are his only headline
dates of 2012.
Fans will also have kept their eyes peeled during BBC America’s live coverage of The
Queen’s Diamond Jubilee: Thames Pageant yesterday (Sunday, June 3). John put on his reporter’s hat, presenting live coverage of the boat
race from the Belfry Barge on the Thames.
