Legit star Jordan Young lands film role in new Irvine Welsh movie Filth

Jordan Young – the star of BBC Scotland comedy Legit – is the latest name to join the cast of new Irvine Welsh movie Filth.

The 31-year-old Fifer is filming around Glasgow alongside Hollywood star James McAvoy – who plays depraved cop Bruce Robertson in the much-anticipated flick.

Jordan starred opposite Clare Grogan in Legit, which was about two Glasgow black market traders. He was also a regular in the last two series of Rab C Nesbitt and toured the world as a member of the National Theatre of Scotland’s smash-hit play Black Watch.

Jordan, who plays Alex “Lexo” Setterington in Filth, said: “It’s a nice part for me. I have a few great scenes.”
