Known for his role in Journeyman, this Scottish actor may be joining the ranks at Seattle Grace as a knew doc in town. Kevin McKidd – who also appeared in HBO’s Rome – is currently in talks with the executives of Grey’s Anatomy to appear in what sounds to be a rather long story arc. The storyline would involve McKidd as a doctor who arrives at Seattle Grace after serving in Iraq. Doesn’t give us much to go on, but at least it’s something. If you haven’t seen Journeyman or Rome but McKidd looks familiar, that’s because he also starred in Patrick Dempsey’s most recent film, Made of Honor. Coincidence? Perhaps the two of them hit it off so much that Dempsey put a good word in at the Grey’s Anatomy headquarters. Or, perhaps it really is a coincidence.

I dislike medical shows, so am not a 'Grey's' fan, but glad to hear he is doing well -- and I DID enjoy that 'kilt' scene from "Made of Honor" - :-)
ReplyDeleteOooh, there's a kilt scene? Yay. I totally decided not to watch Made of Honor because romantic comedies aren't my thing; unless of course they have Hugh Grant :)
