According to the New York Daily news, Ewan McGregor's latest film,
Cassandra's Dream has been pushed back (again!) to a January 18 US release date. It was scheduled for a December 28 opening which would have qualified if for the Academy Awards. The film has gotten mostly positive reviews despite its release day being toyed with. Here's a great quote from

"McGregor’s sexual appeal is more fully on display here than in the past. He must be highly charismatic in person but has consistently failed to translate it on the screen. ... He’s sexy, selfish, and vibrant. [Colin] Farrell has the more difficult role and he does a terrific job taking the collapse of his character and making it believable."

Ewan's other upcoming, terrorist themed film Incendiary was picked up by the Sundance Film Festival which runs from January 17 to January 27, 2008. I don't know how I missed this piece of news, but its good news nonetheless.
