Hollywood actor
Dougray Scott is backing the campaign to save RAF Leuchars from closure.
The
Mission Impossible II and
Desperate Housewives star, who was born in Glenrothes in Fife, is one of a band of "Famous Fifers" lending their support to the campaign.
Writer Ian Rankin, music stars The Proclaimers and film director and producer Richard Jobson are also among those backing the bid to save the airbase.
