Farewell post

I'm very sad that I have to write this, but this is going to be my final post on the blog. I hadn't planned on doing this so early in the year, but I realize that I can no longer post updates because of work. It's oddly painful to write this since this blog has been around for three years and I have enjoyed working on it.

I want to thank everyone who has stopped by to read or leave a comment. Thanks for all your tips and your support. I will miss interacting with people most of all. That's the thing about blogging. Eventually it becomes more about the community than the content. Which is why this is so hard to do.

In the off chance that anyone is interested in taking over the Scottish Actors blog you can contact me at saltireflower [at] yahoo [dot] com. Actually, if you want to contact me at all you can do so at that address. I might be a little slow in replying, but I will reply. Finally, I just wanted to share links to all the places online that I've gotten any information or inspiration from. Many of the people who run these sites have been blogging for way longer than I have, some of them since the 1990s, and they all do it out of love:

Thank you all,

Saba

  5. Oh Saba, say it isn't so!!! This is one of my favourite blogs that I really look forward to receiving! Is there any way you can manage to keep it going even if you don't post quite as often? I really hope that if you just can't that someone else will take it over. If you're on Facebook and want to connect, I'm there at facebook.com/christine.bode - I've just loved this blog!!

    All the best,
    Christine

  6. Thank you so much for all of the work you did on the wonderful Scottish Actors Newsletter. I will certainly miss hearing from you... You kept me up to date on my favourite tv chat show host Craig Ferguson and my favourite film actor, James Mcavoy.
    Many thanks. Happy New Year!
