Grey's Anatomy will return to ABC on Thursday, September 24 at 9pm in the US. For now, it's hard to tell what will happen to Kevin McKidd's character Owen. No one is entirely certain if Kevin McKidd actually has a contract yet for next year. Fellow cast member Jessica Capshaw may not have a contract yet either, and Chandra Wilson is actually waiting for her own offer to return to the show. My guess is that Kevin's contract will be renewed, it just seems sort of weird that these three actors are still waiting to get confirmation from ABC.Source
