JWT, one of the largest advertising agencies in the world, today released its list of 90 things to watch in 2009.One of those 90 things is Gerard Butler! The Ugly Truth is coming out in the Spring, but seems to be a regular romantic comedy. Makes you wonder what they know that we don't...
"Our list points to the broader trends we're seeing, showing the ways in which these shifts will manifest in our everyday lives," says Ann Mack, director of trendspotting at JWT.
Among these shifts, the recession will make the biggest impact, says Mack. "A lot of what to watch in 2009 relates to consumers' adaptation to the economic situation, from 'affordable nutrition' to 'more under one roof,'" notes Mack.

Gerry also has a BIG movie coming out in Game. A futuristic thriller in which he is an action star once again. He also will have Law Abiding Citizen coming out in late 09. Gary Gray is the Director and is known for getting his films edited quickly. They are shooting early 09 so Nov/Dec is very likely. Coooool

ReplyDeleteAm a real true Gerard Butler fan so am looking forward to The Ugly Truth coming out in Spring. What I can't figure out is what kind of a career move it is IF he makes another romantic romp type movie with Jen Aniston...the one where he's a bounty hunter. That one would be later in 2009. What about our warrior hero - is the world just giving up and no more roles for those types?
