  1. Oh BOY - Inever WANTED (pun intended) a Blue Ray Player SO MUCH !! Sigh....

Well, the 2-disc version is very McLicious too -- both for the 'dancing hormones' reaction, and the movie itself, which I always thought was GREAT, and especially for every glorious Scottish accented word James had to say in the interviews!

A surprise - seems the writer of the orignal comic story is a Scot as well! Not a 'stud' but 'cute' in his own way... and full of praise for James, which of course made me love him too! :-)

Having WANTED around, through me into a case of James titters, so now I'm trying to figure out how to watch Penelope, Becoming Jane, Starter for 10, etc... in between Christmas chores, and real life!

I still don't know if I can explain what it IS exactly about this guy -- he's not a classic 'pretty boy' - like Johnny D. or Orlando, or a tough 'manly-man' like Gerry B. and Hugh Jackman -- but he's certainly FAR past 'huggable cute' like all the 'Hobbits' --- whatever it is, James McAvoy REEKS SEXY !

Sigh.... were you able to get the DVD where you are ? :-)

  2. Why has the world suddenly gone all Blue Ray on us?

I didn't know the comic book writer was Scottish! I bet his accent is just lovely. I wonder if he was pleasantly surprised that they hired a Scottish actor in the lead role.

I was watching Becoming Jane again last week and sigh...James is so dashing. Anne Hathaway you lucky duck. Hopefully you can cram some James time in before Christmas.

I've been trying to figure out what the appeal is about James McAvoy too. Because he doesn't fit the modern stereotype of what sexy is. Which might be why he is sexy to some people. He's sexy not just because he has cute freckles, has the most gorgeous blue eyes ever, and has a Scottish accent, but because he's smart, funny, charming, passionate, and he looks like he loves his wife. I think a lot of people just love the fact that he treats his wife like a princess without being too public about their relationship. It is so cute :)

The DVD rental place will probably have the DVD on sale soon so perhaps someone will be getting me a Wanted Christmas present :)

You nailed it ! It's the 'crooked smile' too, I think ! The scene in Penelope, where they are playing chess..... sigh.....
