James McAvoy's appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! canceled + a new 'Last Station' poster

James McAvoy has been replaced with another guest for his previously scheduled Friday, January 8 appearance. It looks like the snow has been delaying flights at Gatwick Airport for the past few days. I'll keep you posted if the appearance is rescheduled or if any of James' other appearances are canceled.

Now for a some good news. An exclusive UK poster for The Last Station has hit the web. The Last Station opens on February 19 in the UK.

Today the British Academy Film Awards unveiled its 2010 Long List: "The result of Round One voting by members of the Academy which had 220 films entered this year, the first round of voting reduces the films down to 15 in each category. Round Two voting, which opens today, will reduce these down to 5 nominations in each category. Over 6000 members of the Academy vote in the three rounds, with final awards given out at the Royal Opera House on February 21st:"

Both Helen Mirren and Christopher Plummer are on the Long List in the lead and supporting categories for their roles in The Last Station.

Craig Ferguson beats Jimmy Fallon for the first time

This is exciting:
In a first in the late-night talk show world, CBS’ Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson beat NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon in the coveted 18-49 demo, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Ferguson has been inching closer to this for a while: In five of the last seven weeks, he’s tied Fallon. But this is the first time since Ferguson’s 2005 premiere that he’s beaten his competitor from NBC in the advertiser-coveted demo. Jimmy Kimmel Live! managed to tie Late Night last week, too. [EW via ONTD!]

Check out the numbers via THR:

ADULTS 18-49

12:35am ET
NBC "Late Night," 0.5/3*
CBS "Late Late Show," 0.6/3*

TOTAL VIEWERS

12:35 am ET
NBC "Late Night," 1.3 million viewers*
CBS "Late Late Show," 1.9 million viewers*

(Asterisk: Tuesday night was coded an election night by Nielsen and not counted in the weekly average, but it doesn't change the outcome if included).

On the Law Abiding Citizen front, the film's official website was launched and you can also check out the film on Facebook and Twitter. GB.net shares the film's new trailer with us, and it looks amazing:

Gerry will also appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live on September 4 to promote Gamer. You can also check out a brand new clip of the film from IGN with an intro from Gerard:
