According to http://www.boxofficemojo.com/ Atonement garnered $817,000 opening weekend on just over 30 screens in New York and Los Angeles. It will expand to wide release on December 14, 2007. The film has mostly very positive reviews and is expected to recieve numerous Golden Globe nominations.
