Is there a such thing as too much McAvoy?

My TV doesn't think so :) I missed James McAvoy on the Today Show this morning because I forgot he was on and I was either up too early or too late to catch it. Here's the Today Show interview if you missed it:

And you can watch the interview James had tonight on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart:

  1. To quote Mike Myers --- How about NOOooooooo ??? There can NEVER be too much McSexy!

I could not get that video clip to work - :-( - and I did not know he was on that show - :-( :-( - but... at least it's only two days until WANTED !

PS - 'Cassandra's Dream' is on DVD now - did you get to see it ?

I haven't gotten the chance to see Cassandra's dream because I haven't been to my video rental store in a while because there's literally been a movie every week in theaters that I go to watch. I'll probably go next week because there isn't anything I want to see (sorry Hancock.)

  3. SPECTACULAR !! Thanks so Much !!

I loved it when she said 'you are the unlikely hero' about his character, but James assumed she meant himself!! And, yeah, um... I'd throw him to the ground too!

WOW - he went to see my baseball team! :-)

I'll be seeing WANTED at Midnight - and I'm betting there will be some cheering going on there too!

  4. Is it me, or did she seem really giddy when she was interviewing James? I would have been a bit of a mess too :)

Have fun at the movie tonight! I'll be watching it this weekend.

  5. I can't have too much of McSexy, either, but I think he is addictive. I was starting to have withdrawal symptoms... it's high time for another great movie!
I thought Ann Curry was very funny, too. How could you not be all over him? A great thing about James is that absolutely everybody seems to genuinely like him. He's the best!

  6. It's going to be a while before we get another movie from James.

But, I finally saw Wanted, and it was amazing. You go in expecting a typical action movie and you come out a little awestruck. I loved it.

  7. (Can you tell that I'm 'starved' for James-chat ??) :-)

I did read that - that he's 'taking a break' after his last film - BUMMER for us, but he certainly does deserve it!

Besides - eventhough James is - by FAR - my current top 'heart-flutterer' - it's not like he's the ONLY 'Hot Scot' hanging around the silver screens! :-) (Am I 'preaching to the Choir' here....)

  8. It'll be hard without another movie with James for a while. But Ewan McGregor has about a million films coming out next year, and Gerard Butler and Billy Boyd have a film that will be out in the fall.

I also read somewhere that there might be a 300 sequel or prequel. It does seem a little strange though having a sequel considering how 300 ended. They would probably have no choice but to do a prequel.

  9. 300 Sequel? That does seem odd ! Especially since that story was based on history. Perhaps it could be a prequel of how Leonidis became King - or a sequel in which Gerry played the son, years after '300' happened. I wonder if he would even want to put himself through all that killer work-out stuff again though!
