Billy Boyd: 'Space Milkshake' trailer

Robin Dunne, who is best known as Dr. Will Zimmerman on the Syfy science fiction show, Sanctuary, has released a full length feature trailer of his new science fiction comedy, Space Milkshake on Twitter.

The science fiction comedy is mainly about the story of a group of four space workers who are on a rundown orbital sanitation station who find trouble when unknown alien force comes aboard. But that is not when the danger begins, but the fun. The film also co-stars Billy Boyd, best known for his role in the The Lord of The Rings trilogy, and Kristin Kreuk, best known for her role as Lana Lang on the CW show, Smallville.

Billy Boyd, Amanda Tapping: Space Milkshake pictures

It has been quite some time now since it was announced that the Armen Evrensel science fiction comedy movie Space Milkshake was set to be made. Now it seems that they are making quite some positive progress, with filming underway. Thankfully, there have been a number of pictures released from the set of Space Milkshake, from building the set to the stars involved.

Space Milkshake centres around a group of space workers who are on a rundown orbital sanitation station, when they come into some trouble after salvaging a peculiar device from the wreckage of the space ship. As well as directing Space Milkshake, Armen Evrensel also wrote the screenplay for the movie, which has developed quite some interest among fans.

Space Milkshake stars former Smallville actress Kristin Kreuk, Lord Of The Rings actor Billy Boyd and Stargate actress Amanda Tapping. All three of the movies stars can be seen in the pictures that have been released. It is expected that Space Milkshake will be aiming to be released sometime next year.

Kristin Kreuk and Billy Boyd big screen, double team supreme

It appears that there is a new big screen, double team supreme developing as Smallville actress Kristin Kreuk and Lord Of The Rings star Billy Boyd are set to team up yet again. It will be the second time in about a year that these two have starred together in a movie.

Kristin and Billy filmed the movie, Irvine Welsh’s Ecstasy, which will be released on April 17, 2012 in the UK, earlier this year. Now they have both signed up to star in the Armen Evrensel, sci-fi comedy movie Space Milkshake, which will begin filming early next year.

Space Milkshake centres around four space workers on a rundown orbital sanitation station, who run into a few problems when they salvage a strange device from a space ship wreckage. Director Armen Evrensel penned the screenplay for the movie, which will also star Amanda Tapping and Robin Dunne. Space Milkshake is expected to be released late 2012 or early 2013.
