John Barrowman to Star in JACK AND THE BEANSTALK at Clyde Auditorium
Following two years of hugely-successful and record-breaking Christmas shows at the Clyde Auditorium, the producers of the SECC’s pantomime, Qdos Entertainment have announced that John Barrowman and The Krankies will return to the venue this Christmas.

John Barrowman and The Krankies have previously starred in Aladdin and Robinson Crusoe & the Caribbean Pirates and this year will lead the cast in Jack and the Beanstalk which is a change to the advertised title of Robin Hood. John will play the leading role of Jack while The Krankies will play Ian & Jimmy Trot.

The use of 3D special effects in the previous Qdos Entertainment pantomimes at the SECC have been so popular with audiences that Jack and the Beanstalk will feature brand-new and outstanding surprises including a fantastic 3D enchanted forest and journey through the giant’s castle!

Signed John Barrowman Photos For Charity
John Barrowman: Torchwood’s champion, all-round entertainer and, it appears keeper of promises.

After meeting a fan at his concert in York last November, Barrowman promised to send the chatty fan some signed photographs to raise money for the Lymphoma Association – a dedicated charity designed to ensure that anyone affected by Lymphatic cancer has access to free relevant, accurate and timely information and emotional support – and he’s kept his word!

The pair of photographs; one of Barrowman himself and another of him and the J4 Dancers – his personal dance troop from his tour who have also signed the picture – are available now on eBay with the auction currently standing at £22.

Lymphoma is the fifth most common cancer diagnosed by clinicians in the UK and is the most common blood cancer overall. Lymphoma is most prevalent in people aged between 33 and over 55 and, year on year, the number of incidences are increasing with no discernible reason why.

So if you want to help an amazing charity and own a great set of autographed Barrowman pictures please don’t hesitate to bid now!
