FremantleMedia Enterprises has picked up worldwide distribution rights - except North America - to Lisa Kudrow's Web Therapy, the one-time Internet series from former Friends star Lisa Kudrow.
The improv series revolves around Fiona Wallice (Kudrow), a therapist with questionable credentials and limited patience as she treats patients via three-minute sessions via webcam sessions. The 10-episode half-hour series features such guest stars as Jane Lynch, Rashida Jones, Alan Cumming, Courteney Cox and Victor Garber.
Originally developed and screened as 3- to 14-minute webisodes, Showtime licensed the series and will bow the comedy July 19 with new footage made specifically for television.
