The story of West Port murderers, Burke and Hare is set to hit the big screen sometime in 2009. It will likely star Ewan McGregor (who can be seen this month in Cassandra's Dream) and Jude Law since Robert Carlyle and Colin Firth are reportedly no longer attached to the project.The film, tentatively titled The Meat Trade will begin shooting in Edinburgh next year and is expected to add a much deserved boost to the Scottish film industry.
