Andrew Lloyd Webber confirmed he will be making a sequel to
The Phantom of the Opera and plans an opening night across three continents. Lloyd Webber wants to rehearse three different companies for the production and open at the West End, Broadway, and in Shanghai, China.
Both Hugh Jackman and Gerard Butler have been rumoured to be candidates to play the Phantom.
Phantom: Love Never Dies takes place a decade after the Phantom's dissapearance and is relocated from Paris to Coney Island in Brooklyn, New York where the Phantom will be reunited with Christine.
All three productions will premier at the end of 2009.
